As many of my customers already know, I like selling merchandise that supports various philanthropic efforts around the world.  For example, most of my Tibetan rugs not only help the refugee families who weave the rugs, but Tibet Rug Company, one of my supplies, works with Interplast, an international organization performing cleft palate surgery on children in developing nations.  Transforming their lives with this simple surgery, makes such a huge difference in their lives.  Tibet Rug Company is also building a fifteen bed hospital in the Katmandu Valley.

I also sell products: jewelry, Indian saris and silk scarves, to help support orphanages in China, Nepal, Tibet, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Bangladesh.

Hopefully, as many new customers find me tucked away in the mountains of Vermont, they will feel that each product they discover and each purchase they make is well worth the drive to my Vermont shop with a Heart for Helping.
